The Japanese art of kintsugi (kin-tsoo-gee) is the art of taking a broken piece of pottery and mending it using a special lacquer mixed with gold or silver dust. The philosophy of the practice embraces the break as a part of the piece’s history, and not something to be hidden. In today’s message, Pastor Vic teaches that you, too, have a history of brokenness. In Christ, you can be made brand new, but your past exists as part of your testimony – not something to hide, but rather something to use to share the Gospel.
